Passion-based Learning and the Tech Tools to Get You There Presenter: Mindy Gold
How do you help students connect to Judaism in personal and unique ways? Encourage them to study Judaism through what they are passionate about! In this session, we will explore an overview of passion-based learning and its potential in the Jewish classroom. We will “play” with a variety of technology tools that support passion-based learning as teachers experience a model that they can then apply in their own classrooms. Participants will leave the session with a template/plan for implementing passion-based learning in their respective classrooms as well as a core set of technology tools to support passion-based learning. This session is designed for teachers working with grades 3 - 8. Technology Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced; BRING a tablet or laptop to this session. Devices will not be provided.
